New hope for hemophilia b: study tests Long-Acting clotting factor

Summary
This study tested a medicine called nonacog beta pegol (N9-GP) in 30 Chinese men with hemophilia B, a bleeding disorder. The medicine helps blood clot and was given as an injection into a vein. The study lasted about 12-16 months and checked how well the medicine stopped bleeding episodes. Results showed it worked well for most bleeds, with many rated as good or excellent.
