Summary
This study aimed to find out how common inherited blood disorders are among people living in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Researchers tested blood samples from 8,400 residents of all ages to identify carriers and affected individuals. The goal was to gather data to help improve future screening, counseling, and public health planning for these conditions.
