First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study followed 72 pregnant women with HELLP syndrome, a serious complication of preeclampsia, to see how their blood markers changed daily before and after delivery. Researchers measured platelets, liver enzymes, and lactate dehydrogenase levels. The goal was to better understand the natural course of the disease, not to test a treatment.
