First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether regular, home-based heat therapy can improve blood vessel health in people with spinal cord injury. About 48 adults will either use a heating pad or a placebo for 60 minutes, four times a week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure blood flow and artery stiffness before and after the treatment to see if the heat helps.
