NCT ID NCT07189507
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the recommended indoor temperature limit of 26°C is truly safe for older adults (ages 65-85) when they are doing light activities or wearing extra clothing. Ten participants will spend 8 hours in a controlled room at 26°C while researchers measure body temperature and heart strain. The goal is to see if current heat safety guidelines need to be adjusted for real-life conditions.
