This study looked at 64 adults having planned surgery under general anesthesia. Researchers used heart ultrasound before anesthesia to group patients by their heart function and blood flow. They then checked who developed low blood pressure after anesthesia. The goal was to see if pre-surgery heart patterns could predict this common complication.
