New study aims to catch heart transplant rejection without a biopsy

NCT ID NCT06774365

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether advanced heart MRI scans and blood tests can help doctors find early signs of organ rejection in heart transplant patients. Researchers will study 683 stable patients who are at least one year post-transplant. The goal is to see if these non-invasive methods can replace or reduce the need for routine heart biopsies.
