First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing whether a blood test that looks for donor DNA can help doctors spot heart transplant rejection earlier and more easily. Researchers will collect blood samples from 120 adult heart transplant recipients in Sweden and compare the results with standard heart biopsies. The goal is to create a nationwide monitoring protocol and better understand how rejection happens.
