Summary
This study compares two solutions used to preserve donor hearts before transplant in children (birth to under 18). The new solution, Custodiol-N, is tested against the standard Custodiol to see if it is safe. Fifteen children awaiting their first heart transplant will take part. The main goal is to check for side effects and monitor vital signs and heart damage markers after surgery.
