Drug trial aims to clear path for Life-Saving heart transplants
NCT ID NCT05300451
Summary
This study is testing if a drug called daratumumab can lower high levels of harmful antibodies in people waiting for a heart transplant. High antibodies can make it very hard to find a compatible donor. The goal is to see if this treatment makes a successful transplant more likely for the 10 participants. Participants receive weekly injections for 8 weeks before their transplant.
