First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study watches 100 adults having nose surgery to see if their heart rate patterns and anxiety levels before the operation can predict if they will become agitated when waking up from anesthesia. Participants will wear a heart monitor and fill out anxiety questionnaires. The goal is to better understand and possibly prevent post-surgery confusion or restlessness.
