Summary
This study compares a new heart support device (CorVad) to standard ECMO in 262 high-risk patients with complex coronary artery disease who need angioplasty. The goal is to see if CorVad better maintains heart function and reduces complications during the procedure. Participants have weak hearts (LVEF ≤35% or ≤40% with symptoms) and are not good candidates for bypass surgery.
