Why heart patients skip their meds: nepal study reveals key barriers
NCT ID NCT07288502
Summary
This study aimed to understand why people in Nepal who have survived a heart attack often don't take their prescribed preventive medications. Researchers surveyed 109 adult patients at a major heart center to measure their medication use and identify the personal and practical reasons for missing doses. The goal was to gather information that could help design better support programs to improve long-term heart health in similar communities.
