Tracking the hidden toll: how transplants affect Survivors' hearts

NCT ID NCT04537871

Summary

This study aims to understand why cancer survivors who receive stem cell transplants have a higher risk of heart disease. Researchers will measure how well the heart, lungs, and muscles work together in 350 adult patients before their transplant and for two years after. The goal is to gather information to help doctors better monitor and support the long-term health of transplant survivors.
