First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study uses a special PET-MR scan to measure the activity of an enzyme called histone deacetylase in the heart. Researchers will compare enzyme levels in people with aortic stenosis or diabetes to those in healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand how this enzyme relates to heart disease, not to provide treatment.
