First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether early, specialized heart monitoring and care can reduce heart problems in people with advanced lung cancer who are getting chemoradiation and immunotherapy. About 524 adults with stage III non-small cell lung cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or early heart-focused care guided by a non-invasive heart monitor. The goal is to see if this approach improves survival and lowers the risk of serious heart side effects.
