New study seeks to validate a quick fitness test for heart monitoring
NCT ID NCT06669715
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to see if a short, interval fitness test (the IFT 30-15) can reliably measure heart and lung fitness in both healthy people and those with high blood pressure or obesity. Researchers will compare results from this test with a standard treadmill test and a six-minute walk test. The goal is to provide a simpler way to monitor cardiovascular health for everyone.
