Can natural supplements give failing hearts a boost?
NCT ID NCT07166965
Summary
This study is testing whether two dietary supplements—a ketone supplement and hawthorn extract—can help improve heart function and exercise ability in people with congestive heart failure. About 45 participants will be randomly assigned to take one of the supplements or a placebo pill for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in heart performance and how long patients can exercise to see if either supplement provides benefits.
