Breathing and muscle stimulation tested to help weakened hearts
NCT ID NCT07506499
Summary
This study is testing two types of physical rehabilitation for people hospitalized with worsening heart failure. Researchers want to see if special breathing exercises, combined with gentle electrical stimulation of leg muscles, can help patients get stronger, walk farther, and feel better. The study will compare these rehab methods to standard medical care alone in 135 participants.
