Heart patients tested: which exercise rebuilds blood vessels best?
NCT ID NCT06788275
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of supervised aerobic exercise works best to improve blood vessel health and overall fitness in people recovering from a heart attack or angina. Researchers will compare three exercise programs—high-intensity interval training with long bursts, high-intensity training with short bursts, and moderate continuous training—over 12 weeks. The goal is to help guide better cardiac rehabilitation programs to control heart disease and improve patients' long-term health.
