NCT ID NCT05810220

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This research study looks at how children and adults who use cochlear implants or auditory brainstem implants hear and understand sounds. Participants will listen to words, sentences, and tones to see how well they identify speech and tell differences in loudness or pitch. The goal is to learn more about hearing with these devices, not to provide a new treatment or cure.
