Summary
This study looked at how the inner ear responds to sound during and after cochlear implant surgery. Researchers used a noninvasive test called electrocochleography to measure electrical signals from the ear. The goal was to learn more about how well the implant works after surgery. 88 people with hearing loss who were getting a cochlear implant took part.
