This study tested a nutrition program called Autism Eats for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who were enrolled in early intervention services. The program aimed to help children eat more fruits and vegetables, try new foods, and improve mealtime behaviors. 132 children and their parents took part, with some receiving the program and others getting standard care. The goal was to see if the program could prevent future health problems like obesity by promoting healthier eating habits.
