Summary
This study tested whether eating only during a specific daily window (time-restricted eating) can improve health and slow aging in 176 adults who are overweight or have early fatty liver disease. Participants followed either a regular Mediterranean diet, a lower-calorie Mediterranean diet, or a time-restricted Mediterranean diet for 6 months. Researchers measured changes in weight, body fat, sleep, mood, thinking skills, and molecular signs of aging.
