Summary
This study tested a six-session health literacy program for 102 ninth-grade students in a public high school. Half the students took the program, while the other half did not. Researchers measured changes in health knowledge and self-confidence using standard surveys. The goal was to see if teaching teens how to find, understand, and use health information can make a difference.
