Can respectful health talks help save newborns in ethiopia?
NCT ID NCT07095296
Summary
This study aims to see if a redesigned health education program, which respects local cultural beliefs, can help new mothers in Ethiopia better care for their babies and use recommended postnatal checkups more often. Trained midwives will deliver four educational sessions to over 800 pregnant women during their regular prenatal visits. The goal is to increase the number of mothers who get postnatal care and improve their knowledge about caring for a newborn.
