First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how listening to loud music through headphones changes your heart rate, breathing, and how hard exercise feels. Healthy volunteers aged 18 to 30 will walk on a treadmill twice — once with no sound and once with loud sound. Researchers will measure heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and perceived effort to see if loud sound makes a difference.
