Summary
This study looks at how head and neck position (sniffing vs. ramped) and the type of blade used on a video laryngoscope affect how quickly a breathing tube can be placed in 140 severely obese patients (BMI 40 or higher) undergoing elective surgery. The goal is to find the best combination to make intubation faster and safer. No new treatment or cure is being tested.
