First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study compares two different chemotherapy drug combinations to find out which is more effective for treating advanced head and neck cancer that has not been treated before. About 128 adults with stage IV cancer of the throat, mouth, or voice box will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The main goal is to see which combination helps patients live longer without the cancer growing or spreading.
