This study checked how well a new set of blood tests (Access HBV assays) can detect hepatitis B virus. Researchers tested leftover blood samples from over 21,000 adults, including blood donors and hospital patients. The goal was to see if these tests are accurate enough to help doctors diagnose HBV infection.
