Oxygen therapy may boost stem cells – new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06748586

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) changes the number of blood stem cells in adults aged 20 to 80 who are already receiving HBOT for other reasons. Researchers will take blood samples at different times to count stem cells using special markers. The goal is to learn more about how HBOT affects these cells, not to treat a disease.
