Summary
This study tested a weekly injection called HBM9161 in 36 adults with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, raising bleeding risk. The goal was to find the best dose and see if it safely increases platelet counts. Participants had failed at least one prior treatment. The trial compared HBM9161 to a placebo to measure early response and sustained platelet improvement.
