First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is for 200 adults having planned coronary artery bypass surgery. It aims to see if higher blood sugar (HbA1c) levels before surgery are linked to a higher risk of acute kidney injury after surgery. Researchers will also use ultrasound to measure kidney blood flow. The goal is to better understand and predict kidney complications, not to test a new treatment.
