New lung cancer drug combo takes on standard treatment in major trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug called HB0025 combined with chemotherapy against the standard treatment (pembrolizumab plus chemo) for people with advanced or spreading squamous non-small cell lung cancer who haven't had treatment before. About 480 adults will take part, receiving either the new combo or the standard one every 3 weeks. The goal is to see which works better at delaying cancer growth and improving survival.
