Summary
This study tested if starting a common allergy medicine (fexofenadine) two days before being exposed to ragweed pollen could better prevent seasonal allergy symptoms. About 95 adults with ragweed allergies participated. They were randomly given either the real medicine or a placebo pill before a controlled pollen challenge to compare symptom scores.
