First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study explores whether haptonomy, a method using gentle touch and emotional awareness, can help pregnant women feel more connected to their baby and more supported by their partner. About 36 pregnant women will be randomly assigned to receive haptonomy sessions with their partner, their mother, or a midwife. The goal is to see if these sessions improve emotional bonding and perceived support.
