Smiley face survey could replace pee tests for prostate patients
NCT ID NCT07269652
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether simple tools like smiley faces (HappyOrNot) and a 0-10 scale can measure urinary symptoms in men with an enlarged prostate. 100 men from two hospitals filled out these quick surveys, and the results were compared to standard symptom questionnaires and urine flow tests. The goal was to see if these easier methods could reliably track symptom severity.
