Scientists grip the future: mapping teen strength for better health
NCT ID NCT07408986
Summary
This study aimed to create a reference guide for normal handgrip and leg strength in healthy 15-16 year old adolescents. Researchers used a handheld digital device to measure strength in 50 participants, following standard testing positions. The results will help doctors and researchers understand what 'normal' strength looks like for this age group, which can be used to assess patients with health conditions in the future.
