New study tests training methods to help burn survivors regain hand strength

NCT ID NCT07228780

Summary

This study aims to find out if adding a special blood flow restriction technique (venous occlusion) to standard strength training helps people recover hand strength and function better after a burn injury. Researchers will compare two groups of patients with healed hand burns doing different exercise programs. The goal is to see which approach leads to better grip strength and daily use of the hand.
