First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether certain markers in blood and saliva can help predict how well people with gum disease will heal after non-surgical treatment. Researchers will measure these markers in 180 adults (healthy, with gingivitis, or with advanced periodontitis) before and after standard deep cleaning. The goal is to find simple ways to personalize gum disease care and improve treatment outcomes.
