First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is looking for 180 adults aged 18-65 to see if certain markers in blood and saliva can predict how well someone heals from gum disease treatment. Participants will have a dental exam and provide blood and saliva samples. Those with gum disease will receive standard non-surgical treatment and return for a check-up after 3 months. The goal is to find simple ways to personalize gum disease care.
