Two wires better than one for bunion surgery?

NCT ID NCT07344077

Summary

This study is testing whether using two small wires instead of one to hold a corrected bunion bone in place leads to better results. Researchers want to see if the two-wire method provides more stability, reduces complications like the bunion returning, and improves pain and walking ability. They are comparing the two techniques in 50 adults with severe, painful bunions that haven't improved with other treatments.
