First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether a special gel made from hyaluronic acid (HA) can help reduce pain and speed up healing after gum graft surgery. Thirty adults aged 18 to 70 who needed a gum graft from the roof of their mouth took part. The gel was applied to the wound, and researchers measured wound size and pain levels over six weeks.
