First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study aims to find out how often the bacteria H. pylori is present in people newly diagnosed with stomach cancer in Guadeloupe. Researchers will test tissue and blood samples from 100 patients to see if this infection is linked to the higher rates of stomach cancer seen there compared to mainland France. The study does not offer treatment but will help understand the cause of the disease in this population.
