First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 14-day treatment using just two medications (vonoprazan and an antibiotic) works as well as the standard four-drug therapy for eradicating H. pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers and cancer. About 372 adults who have never been treated for H. pylori will take part. The main goal is to see how often the infection is cleared, and researchers will also track side effects and how well patients follow the treatment plan.
