Wheat sensitivity linked to Women's health issues?
NCT ID NCT03027492
First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 500 women to see if those with non-celiac wheat sensitivity (NCWS) have more gynecological problems than healthy women or those with celiac disease or irritable bowel syndrome. Researchers also checked if a wheat-free diet helps improve these issues. The goal was to better understand this condition, not to test a new treatment.
