Summary
This study looks at whether a daily supplement of 'good bacteria' (synbiotic) can improve gut health and reduce harmful toxins in the blood of people on dialysis. Researchers will measure changes in gut bacteria, toxin levels, and gut barrier function over 12 weeks in 30 adult dialysis patients. The goal is to understand if this approach could help reduce inflammation and heart disease risk in the future.
