Could your gut bacteria predict cancer spread?

NCT ID NCT07154173

Summary

This study aims to understand how bacteria in the gut might influence whether colorectal cancer spreads to other parts of the body. Researchers will collect tissue and stool samples from 300 people with colorectal cancer, comparing those whose cancer has spread with those whose hasn't. The goal is to identify bacterial patterns that could help predict which cancers are more likely to spread and lead to better treatments.
