Scientists hunt for gut bacteria clues to personalize arthritis care
NCT ID NCT04899154
Summary
This study aims to find out if the specific mix of bacteria in a person's gut can predict whether they will respond well to biologic treatments for spondyloarthritis, a type of inflammatory arthritis. Researchers will compare the gut bacteria of 80 patients starting treatment to see if certain patterns are linked to better outcomes. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment for each patient sooner.
