First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the bacteria in your gut can help predict if colorectal cancer will spread. Researchers will collect tumor tissue, normal tissue, and stool samples from 300 people with colorectal cancer to compare bacterial patterns between those whose cancer has spread and those whose hasn't. The goal is to find new ways to predict cancer spread and develop better treatments.
