New hope for rare, painful skin condition: drug trial underway

Summary

This study tests if guselkumab can help people with Hailey-Hailey disease, a genetic condition causing painful blisters and sores in skin folds. Ten adults with moderate to severe disease will receive the drug and be monitored for changes in skin severity and quality of life. The goal is to find a more reliable treatment for this chronic disorder.
